Emirates Introduces Premium Economy on Routes to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain

Emirates is set to enhance its premium economy offerings on four key routes from Dubai International Airport (DXB) by the end of the year. This expansion will bring a touch of luxury to shorter flights across the Middle East and western Asia. Known for its spacious seating and elegant interiors, Emirates’ premium economy has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best in the world, offering a taste of luxury without the hefty price of a lie-flat seat. The airline’s success with this cabin class has prompted it to retrofit more aircraft, making premium economy available on even more routes.

Starting October 26, Emirates will introduce additional premium economy services to Amman (AMM) in Jordan and Mumbai (BOM) in India. These routes will be operated by the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER, respectively. Muscat (MCT) in Oman will join the lineup on October 30 with the Airbus A350. Amman will enjoy twice-daily service, while Mumbai and Muscat will see 22 and nine premium economy flights per week, respectively. On December 4, Bahrain (BAH) will receive an extra premium economy-equipped Boeing 777-300ER every Thursday, ensuring all flights to Bahrain feature the upgraded cabins. Emirates is committed to expanding its premium economy footprint, with plans to offer over 2 million seats by the end of 2025, up from the current 1.8 million.

These new routes are just a glimpse of Emirates’ growing premium economy network. Currently, the cabin is available on 635 flights weekly, and by winter, 68 destinations will feature this luxurious option. Of these, 36 will be exclusively served by aircraft equipped with premium economy. Emirates promises a consistent experience for passengers connecting through Dubai, thanks to its ongoing cabin refit program. This expansion is a testament to the increasing demand for premium travel, and Emirates is poised to meet it with style and comfort.
