Swiss International Airlines has unveiled its latest First and Business Class suites at Zurich Airport, marking a significant upgrade in their in-flight experience. These new seats will debut with the airline’s fresh fleet of Airbus A350-900s starting this autumn. The innovative cabin design, dubbed ‘Swiss Senses,’ aims to offer passengers across all classes a more personalized and comfortable journey. This initiative is the airline’s largest product investment to date, featuring a cozy color palette of claret, anthracite, and beige. Notably, the First and parts of the Business Class cabins will introduce suite-style seating for the first time.
A standout feature of the new cabin is its human-centric lighting, designed to help passengers adjust better to different time zones and reduce jet lag. Additionally, a revamped inflight entertainment system will be available, boasting larger screens and the ability to connect personal devices, enhancing the travel experience for all passengers. The first of these new Airbus A350-900s is expected to arrive in October, with initial long-haul flights to Boston scheduled for this winter.
Swiss Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach expressed excitement about the new offerings, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to providing a premium and individualized travel experience. The SWISS Senses concept not only focuses on seating but also engages all senses with special lighting and a unique scent crafted for the airline. This comprehensive upgrade represents a major milestone for Swiss aviation, reinforcing the airline’s dedication to quality and innovation.
