Epic E1000 AX Certification: Boosting SEO with a Professional Edge

The Epic E1000 AX made its grand entrance at the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, this past April, and it’s turning heads for all the right reasons. This sleek turboprop is packed with cutting-edge features like Garmin Autoland and Autothrottle, setting it apart from its predecessor, the E1000 GX. While the Autoland feature is still awaiting final FAA certification, expected around 2026, the buzz around this aircraft is undeniable. Epic Aircraft first got the E1000 certified back in 2019 after a lengthy seven-year development journey. When AOPA took the upgraded E1000 GX for a spin in 2024, they couldn’t help but call it a “showstopper,” praising its size, speed, and superior cabin comfort.

The E1000 AX takes things up a notch with its advanced Garmin avionics and automation, which were missing in the previous model. CEO Doug King shared in a July 21 news release that sales have been through the roof, with July setting new records even before AirVenture kicked off. According to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, Epic has delivered 82 aircraft since the first E1000 hit the skies in 2020, with 26 of those deliveries happening in 2024 alone. Looking ahead, the company plans to deliver 30 aircraft in 2025 and 36 in 2026. Performance-wise, the E1000 AX holds its own with a maximum cruise speed of 333 knots, a payload capacity of 1,177 pounds with full fuel tanks, and a range of 1,560 nautical miles, all while soaring up to 34,000 feet.

As for pricing, the E1000 AX remains consistent with its predecessor, starting at $4.7 million and going up to $4.85 million with optional extras. It’s a hefty price tag, but for those who crave speed, comfort, and cutting-edge technology, it’s worth every penny. #EpicE1000AX #AviationInnovation #GarminAvionics #TurbopropExcellence
